Who writes this site, where our numbers come from and what you can and cannot expect from us.

Who we are
We are Patrick and Tamara Visser, together with our sons Milano and Noah. Since 2022 we have lived all-in on bitcoin and travelled the world. Just B Free Family is a trade name of JUSTBFREEFAMILY CONSULTANCY - FZCO in Dubai.
What we are
A family doing this ourselves and writing about it. Everything here we use or have used ourselves: the wallets, the exchanges, the trading bot, the Globe app. We share what works and what went wrong.
What we are not
We are not financial advisers and hold no licence to give investment advice. We don't know your situation, so nothing on this site is a recommendation to buy or sell. Past results say nothing about the future. You decide for yourself, and only with money you can afford to lose.
Who writes what
Patrick handles the technical side: the Globe app, the setup of the trading bot and the copytrades, and checking exchanges, wallets and licences. Tamara writes the guides and articles and guards the tone. We both keep in touch with the community. We proofread each other before publishing.
How we write
We start from what we have actually done and tested, not from what ranks well. Every text is reviewed by one of us and filled in with real details from practice before it goes live. Anything that can change, such as licences, product availability or figures, gets a check date.
Where our numbers come from
The bitcoin price at the top of the site comes from CoinGecko. Monthly returns are calculated from Binance price data, with a visible label showing whether it is live or cached and through which month the data runs. The M2 money supply comes from FRED (Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis). The news overview pulls headlines from CoinDesk, Cointelegraph, Bitcoin Magazine, Decrypt and CryptoPanic; we do not write those articles. The places on the Globe map come from BTC Map, Bitcoin Jungle and OpenStreetMap contributors.

Some links to exchanges are affiliate links. If you sign up through one, that platform pays us a fee. It costs you nothing extra and it does not decide what we recommend: we only name parties we use or have tested ourselves. Where a link is an affiliate link, we say so.

It happens, and we want to hear about it. Email info@justbfreefamily.com with the page and what is wrong. If it checks out we fix the text and update the check date on that page. If it is something material, we note what changed.
